THE HEALTH OF OUR CATS: atheart  of our concerns

​Our Bengals are screened for:

​

  • PRA-b by genetic test at the UC-Davis laboratory (Progressive retinal atrophy).​​

 

  • PK-Def by genetic testing at the UC-Davis laboratory (blood anemia).

 

  • HCM by cardiac ultrasound with a cardiologist from E-Vet Mobile (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy).

​

  • FIV/FeLV by blood sample at our clinic each time a new cat arrives at the farm (AIDS/feline leukemia).

​

  • Intestinal parasites by PCR and coprology at IDEXX (giardia, trichomonas, coccidiosis...).
